Hello, Hello!
It is the last Tuesday of the month, so that means it is Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop time! WooHoo! I love hopping with and learning from these amazing ladies! If you are coming from Elizabeth Ames, thank you for continuing on to me!
This month our kit was called So Cool and included supplies to make 12 fresh, fun-shaped cards, plus it coordinates with this DSP and the rest of the Ice Cream Corner Suite!
I always make the cards as designed on first opening the box! Here they are as designed. Such darling cards! Here is my Paper Pumpkin Playdate Live that I did on Monday morning at 9am MDT. WATCH HERE
So I had all kinds of ideas for alternates like a scrapbook page, 3×3 cards, and I saw Rachel Tessman make a pizza out of the watermelon stamp, as well as some other cards that were floating around in my head…I ended up doing a OneSheetWonder style card! I am beginning to make these a little more often and they are so much fun! have some plans for even more using the sentiments. For today, I just used the popsicle, watermelon slice, and the little dots.
I chose Bermuda Bay, Bumblebee, and Poppy Parade. Even though the coordinating colors in the kit have Terracotta Tile in it, I swapped for the Poppy Parade because the Terracotta Tile is no longer available. They have sold out. I just randomly sprinkled the middle line of the Basic White cardstock (8″x10 1/2″) with the 3 stamps in the 3 colors until is was a full as I wanted it. Then I cut it into four pieces of card fronts (4″x 51/4″).
Then I put them on card bases of Bermuda Bay, Bumblebee, and Poppy Parade. Added some sentiments from the kit and the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set, embellishments from the kit and the multi sequins pack, and ended up with some more cute cards!
Well, that is it for me today! Check out next month’s kit below! Looks like another fun one! Who can resist Baseball??!
Time for you to hop on over to Charmane Hopkins and see what lovely alternate she came up with for this So Cool kit!
