Howdy Everyone!
Yep, back for a 3rd Hop of the week! Crazy week! Happy to say that as of 3;45pm today I am free and clear of all subbing obligations and can just focus on my online teaching for Magic Ears and my Stampin’ Up! WooHoo!! Happy camper am I!
It’s time for the Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop with an odd Twist…using products any of our catalogs and use it in a different way than it was originally intended. Originally I had planned to use the Little Ladybug (hence the title) stamp set from Sale-A-Bration, because I forgot that it ended before this blog hop. So, I challenged myself to use a stamp set (Capture the Good) that I have not yet used. I fully intend to use it for scrapbooking, but didn’t for today.
Here is what I created…a card, as intended by Stampin’ Up! I have fallen in love with the braiding of the card fold and so I used it again for this one. Needed to test out the idea that the template could not be reused. I did reuse it…my hands are bigger than Lisa’s, I guess, it was not a problem for me. I also distressed the edges and especially the braiding with Mango Melody ink. And, of course, I used one of the stamps and stamped it in the same ink to make the background. Any other questions about the card? Feel free to ask in the comments below!
Here is the inside…just making it fun to send some sunshine and smiles to others.
And heremy ‘twisted’ item…the mobile…it’s a little side heavy, so I may have to make some length adjustments. 🙂
Time to hop on over to Barbara Welch’s page and see what kind of ‘twisted’ ideas she had!

Thank you, Libby! Not sure if it was the right kind of twist, but I’ve hung it in my Creation Studio, so it was for me. ?
