Howdy Everyone!
Welcome to another hop with the talented ladies of the Global Stamping Friends! We are all demonstrators from around the global and love to share our crafting joys! This month’s theme was Foil and Glimmer.
Here is the card I made…
I used the So Many Stars stamp set and the Stitched Stars dies (which are carrying over, thank goodness!) I used a faux embossing technique that I CASEd from Lauren Alarid when I hopped along the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop. I cut out a bunch of the star swirls in the Shaded Spruce and then put them all over the Shaded Spruce panel. What a great idea! Although in the future, I would cut them after putting the paper on sticky paper. Gluing was tedious! Don’t let that stop you, though! It looks so cool!
I had an idea for this set that I am still going to do, but there were 2 challenges that caught my eye and inspired this card…
EDITED/UPDATED: This card was a winner for this CAS Colours & Sketches challenge! Yippee!
So, that is it for me today. Now it is time to see what lovely project Jan Musselman has to share with us! Click the next arrow, please.

That looks amazing! It really looks embossed. Ugh, I can’t even think about gluing that all down. Yo have a lot of patience I think. Lovely card. TSF

Thank you!
The stars on the card base give it an embossed look – I was wondering what folder you had used. Great card!

Thank you! Yes, isn’t it cool haw it looks embossed? When I saw this on another hop, I knew I needed to do it, too! Next time I will use the sticky paper, though! Gluing was tedious! ?

Thank you! I have discovered this as a downfall of blog hops too! ? You’re welcome! Since the Stitched Stars dies are on the carry over list, it’s a good idea to snag ’em now!
