Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Spooky Treats

Paper-Pumpkin-Possibilities-Bloghop

Hello, Hello!

It’s the last Tuesday of the month therefore we are hopping with the creative Strampin’ Up! Demonstrators in the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop today. Some of whom I was able to meet in person during BackStage in New Orleans last month! What a delight that was!

If you are joining me from the lovely Cheryl Hamilton’s blog, Thank you for continuing to HOP!!

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop is a fun way share our love of Paper Pumpkin kits and show ways to make alternates using the supplies in the kit, by adding a few extras, or going way outside the box and using items from the kit to make creations with other products! However each person does it…we love to share and inspire you to create with this fabulous monthly kit!

This month our kit was titled Spooky Treats and they are as cute and they are functional! The drawers were a tad confusing to make, however, I finally figured it out during a live…um, yeah, that was kinda embarrassing! 🙂 You can laugh at me HERE. If you want to skip laughing at me…here are the finished treat boxes as designed! I always do 1 of everything as designed before I branch off into alternates!

From here I chose to make some cards…I added some cardstock for the bases and I brought in the Glitter Washi Four Pack in all the Halloween colors! I also used the Painted Textures embossing folder and some black ink for the bats. Other than that, I pretty much used what was in kit! Here are my cards with some close ups.

Card 1 front and envelope

Card 1 up close to see the embossing folder texture and the washi tape sparkle

Card 2, a fun fold, front and envelope

Card 2 the inside

Card 2 up close

Loving these cards and need to make sure I actually send them this year! 😉

That’s a wrap for me today! Now it’s time for you to be whisked away to the amazing Debbi Green’s page by clicking on the Next button below!
