Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Sweet Sunflowers

Paper-Pumpkin-Possibilities-Bloghop

Hello, Hello!

It’s the last Tuesday of the month therefore we are hopping with the creative Strampin’ Up! Demonstrators in the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop today. Some of whom I was able to meet in person during BackStage in New Orleans this past weekend! What a delight that was!

If you are joining me from the lovely Terri Takashige blog, Thank you for continuing to HOP!!

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop is a fun way share our love of Paper Pumpkin kits and show ways to make alternates using the supplies in the kit, or by adding a few extras, or going way outside the box and using items from the kit to make creations with other products! However each person does it…we love to share and inspire you to create with this fabulous monthly kit!

This month our kit was titled Sweet Sunflowers and the cards are STUNNING!! Almost didn’t want to make anything else with them! The cards as they were designed looked like this…

Aren’t those cards amazing??!!! I loved putting them together! I always put one of each card together as designed…I just forgot to take a picture of them so I used Paper Pumpkin’s picture. 😉

The first alternate I made was actually the one that Paper Pumpkin supplied a picture and instructions for. I wanted to make it so that my viewers/followers could understand the directions…you can see that FB Live HERE. This is the finished card…I did not do it exactly…but close enough for them to get the idea.

Now, those envelopes beg to be used for more than just an envelope…soooo, I did! I happened to catch Lisa Curcio’s live on YouTube as a replay while I ate lunch…except it was her daughter Gina. She was making a Rotating/Twisted Easel card and it looked so simple and the perfect way to showcase the sunflowers and the beautiful envelopes as DSP! It may end up being a new fave fun fold and I am sure I will be doing more of these in my lives!

Here’s my card laying flat…

And, when you stand it up…it looks like this!
