ICS May Blog Hop It’s a Guy Thing with He’s the Man

It’s the second Tuesday of May, so it’s time for a fun hop with the fantastic Demonstrators participating in Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop! If you are joining me from the talented Tricia Butts’ blog, Thank You for continuing to hop along!! Keep on hopping as there are many fun projects still to see!

Since next month is Father’s Day and masculine cards can challenging, our theme this month is It’s a Guy Thing! I chose most of my items from the He’s the Man Suite! This stamp set, He’s All That with the matching dies really suits the guys in my life to a T! I love all the sentiments and the DSP is fantastic!

 

Check out my card…for my husband this year…it’s a bookend card, at least that is what I think this style is called. There is a score line between the DSP and cardstock and that is where it folds back to open it. I should have taken a picture of it that way, but apparently forgot!

Below are listed the ingredients I used for this card. Let me show you an up close picture though, as I am so in love with this embossing folder…Brick & Mortar! Can’t wait for Christmas to use it with a Santa! Make sure you stamp BEFORE you emboss your cardstock so your images are solid! Plus, I heat embossed the sentiments that are popped up with dimensionals! And put a swirl of the linen thread behind the label. Super fun and easy card! Made 24 of them for a swap I am in, assembly line style!
