Some ingredients for the candy cane card using the Stamparatus

GSF Blog Hop Regals Color Collection

Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop

Hello, Hello!

Welcome to another Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! It is the first Friday of the month! Wowza! Where, oh where has this year gone?? Why does it go so fast as an adult and so slow as a child??

I love hopping along with these wonderful demonstrators from around the world! Truly talented ladies! Are you ready to see what we created? Then read on!

This month we are using the Regals Color Collection. I have to say it has been one of my favorites since the beginning of my Stampin’ Up! journey. This year I have used more Brights, but when it comes to the holidays…I am all about the Regals!

Here is the very rich Regal color family…Blackberry Bliss and Shaded Spruce are 2 of my favorites!

REGALS COLLECTION CLASSIC STAMPIN' PADS

However, since it is the Christmas season…I did keep it simple and went with the Real Red and the Shaded Spruce for my card today. I am using my favorite stamp this Christmas…Candy Cane background stamp! And I am using my new best friend, the Stamparatus! I used the Tasteful Labels to cut out the sentiment from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set. Before I did that, I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. That helped it to really stand out on the Shaded Spruce cardstock! Then I used the Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blend to color some rhinestones and placed them around the card. The Metallic Mesh Ribbon is behind the sentiment just to give it a touch of sparkle. I think it came together nicely and is easily and quickly duplicatable! Which is what I am after right now as I work to get all my cards finished and mailed out before Christmas! 😉 (all supplies and ingredients are listed below)
