Hello, Hello!
So happy to see you all here today! It is the end of August already! WoW! That means it is time for the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop! If you are hopping along from Lisa Ann Bernard’s blog, thank you for continuing on the hop!
Did you get your Hope Box kit yet? No? Well, guess what?! You still can!! YES! Today is the last day, but you can go get your Hope Box kit right now, right here! (If you already have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, please go on over to their website and get the Hope Box there! Thank you!)
Here are the original cards for this month’s kit. There sure are bright and fun! I made them…just forgot to take a picture of them. LoL
My alternates for you today are a fun 2 for 1! I saw this technique from a lady with the last name of Trimble on one of the fb groups I am in. I can’t seem to find it now, though. Gotta learn to write names down. Anyway, she made a mistake by coloring on the wrong side that turned into a brilliant idea! When I saw it, I knew I had to do it, too…on purpose! So, I did it for Paper Pumpkin Playdate on Monday! It turned out even more spectacular than I imagined it would! Here are the 2 for 1 cards and then the video is further down on how they were created! So much fun! I even ordered the refill kit so I can make more!!
This is the first card with extra bold coloring on the colored side. Isn’t it so brilliant? It really pops on that black cardstock! LOVE it!
This is the result from having cardstock underneath instead of scratch paper! Isn’t it stunning? I love how it is so detailed…even the outline of the die cut! To see how I did it, plus all the other embellishing, you can watch the video below!
That’s it for me today! Remember that TODAY is the last day to get the HOPE BOX kit with no strings attached…just order it here and it’s the last day for the August Mystery Hostess Giveaway!
Now you are off to see what fun and creative alternate Mary Knabe has created for us! Click on the Next button below!
