Hello, Hello!
Happy Fri-YAY! It’s not only almost the weekend, it is time for the Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! WooHoo! I love seeing what these talented ladies create! I get so many ideas from them! Our theme this month is Animals! As soon as I read that I grabbed my Turtle Friends stamp set! Hadn’t made anything with it yet and knew I wanted to use it! There are soooo many cute animal stamp sets in both the Annual Catalog and the new Fall Mini Catalog! I’m sure you will see a variety in this hop!
Here is the Turtle Friends Bundle! It is so adorable! There are many options with the sentiments as well! I like that in a stamp set!
I also used the Biggest Wish stamp set. I really like this one! It’s become a frequently used one for me! I thought I would make the Hello larger than what was in the Turtle set.
I chose to make a baby card for my Physical Therapist who is going on maternity leave in a few weeks. It’s her first and I am so excited for her! She knows she is having a girl, so that made it super easy to pick colors! Here is my card doing a new stand up card that I saw from a demonstrator on fb named Debbie Henderson, I think that was her name…I’m pretty sure. I really need to start writing down people’s names. This card was super easy and super fun!
Here is the back of the card…
Here is a side view of the card…
And…the best part…the standing view of the baby card!
Isn’t it adorable? I love how it turned out! I may have gone a little overboard with the hearts, but when it comes to babies, I can get a little crazy…I LOVE BABIES!
That is it for me today! If you would like the measurements for this card, make sure to email me at June@Junebug-Creations.com and I will be happy to pass on it!
Time to hop on over to Tricia Butts’ site and see what fun creation she has come up with! Click the next button to keep on hopping!

I feel like we need to high five for using Turtle Friends! I love your fun fold card and I would never have thought to pair the turtles with a floral DSP but it works a treat! Thanks for sharing x

Thank you! High 5 back at you! I hadn’t played with it yet and it was perfect for a baby card. SInce I knew it is a girl, I figured I could get away with the flowers. If it had been a boy, I probably would have used the Beauty of the Earth papers or In Good Taset.
Those turtles are adorable indeed. I love the flowers on the back of the pink one. TFS!

Thank you! Yes, that was a fussy cut job for the Momma’s shell.
That little pink turtle with the paper pieced shell is adorable. I love this fun fold too.

Love your card! I saw this cardbase this week and thought: I need to make one someday and now I see yours, I really need to make one soon! 🙂

Yes! It was on Demonstrator Planning Place and when I watched the video I knew I had to make one right then…CASEd her as she did it, but used flower from Poppies. Then I thought it would be a cute Baby card format as well. It is fast becoming a new favorite! You should do it! Super easy!
I never would have thought to pair the adorable turtle with that DSP! Lovely card
Author
Thank you! I did only because I knew she is having a girl…otherwise, I have struggled with what to use for a background with the turtle. 🙂
Cute cards. Love the different coloured turtles.
Author
Thank you! Couldn’t make Mom and Dad the same, right? 😉
