My goodness, 2 posts in one day! Yippee! I’m rolling! LOL I’m gearing up for a move, so I am attempting to get some things in place before that happens…one of which is some inspiration to tie you over through my move at the end of the month! Same town, different house.
I love shaker cards…not super easy to make, but oh so worth it! And I really love this one!
I am using my card for this fun Challenge from Try Stampin’ – Or Not – On Tuesday! Well, I did stamp on a Tuesday! And I went with both the shaker card and the sketch! I just turned things around a bit.
Here is my card…
Of course, the insides all fell down behind the poppie, but you can see all the sequins inside. I really love this card and can’t figure out who to send it to! I used the Peaceful Poppies DSP for the backdrop and layered it on a piece of Old Olive cardstock. Then I used the stitched rectangles to make the frame from Flirty Flamingo cardstock. The poppie and leaves are cut using the Peaceful Moments Dies. I put a little bit of Wink of Stella on the black stamin in the middle of the flower. The sequins comes form the Mini catalog and is part of the Peaceful Poppies Suite. Hands down one of my favorite ever…and that is saying a lot because I am not usually into flowers much for my cards or scrapbooking. I used Metallic Pearls for the 3 dots at the top. And of course, to pop it up I used the foam adhesive strips…and make sure there are no holes or your sequins will come out…who me? Speak from experience? Um, yeah, ok…I am. hahaha! 🙂
