Howdy Everybody!
Life definitely has it’s twists and turns, doesn’t it? I trust you are all doing well during this time of staying home and taking it one day at a time! My family and I have found a nice little routine and we are happy and healthy! I wish the same for you!
It’s the first Friday of the month and you know what that means? It’s time for the Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! I just LOVE hopping with these talented ladies from around the world! This month our theme is Stitched! Everybody loves the look of sewing in their projects without the sewing machine…although I could have pulled mine out for this project…this was simpler!
This card was actually a facebook live with my friend Darla Roberts. She gave us measurements a couple days before and then did the live and demonstrated how to put it together! I altered it a bit by adding stitched elements to work for this blog hop and really like how it turned out!
Here is my card:
My stitched elements are the rectangle that I embossed with the High Seas 3D embossing folder and the stitched shape around the sentiment which actually comes with the Smooth Sailing dies. The yellow one behind was cut in half and pulled apart to give the yellow on the sides. Needed the yellow to give the feel of sunshine coming out to brighten a day. The DSP on the back part is from the Come Sail Away pack and I had not seen it used anywhere, so I wanted to use it. I used the anchor dies and the anchor trinket because…well, it talks about an anchor. 🙂 I really like how it all came together!
And here is the inside…
The ‘love you’ is actually from the Well Said stamp set. I left just enough room to write a little something.
That’s it for me today! Scroll on down to comments and let me know what you think of the card! Also, on your way there, take a look at the Give Back pdf for Covid relief, the Last Chance products…and the Clearance Rack has been refreshed, too!
Now it is time to click on the next button to hop on over to Angélique Stempelkeuken and see was masterful stitched creation she came up with for you! Enjoy!
Thank you for reading and taking this crafting journey with me! It’s nice to have you along! Enjoy your own Stampin’, Scrappin’, and Craftin’ journey! Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts about this project. Feel free to CASE my projects and share them in the comments below! I love to see what others create!
Blessings, June
