Howdy Everyone!
Welcome to the delayed December Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop where we share our alternates for the the latest kit. We delayed it due to all the holidays. We are showcasing the December Paper Pumpkin kit and the alternates we created early this month and then will showcase the January one at the end of the month. I love the inspiration that I get from these talented ladies! Join us for a fun hop with tons of ideas to turn your Paper Pumpkin kit into more than you thought possible!
I was excited to get my December kit…Something for Everything with 13 sentiments! That is amazing! All sorts of possibilities! I started off by creating the original cards designed for the kit. I typically make 1 of each to show at my Paper Pumpkin “Taste Testing” workshop where participants can come and make 3 cards and see if they like Paper Pumpkin. It’s a fun time!
I always make 1 of each of the designed cards. Here they are…
This was an awesome kit that needed very little extras added. All I did was add some extra cardstock in Shaded Spruce, Grapefruit Grove, Old Olive, and Terracotta Tile for card bases and backdrops.
I made 6 alternates and they will be featured this week in 2 posts. Here 3 of them and the first is my favorite alternate. It will be the alternate that my Paper Pumpkin Clubbers make. It’s my first easel style card. I needed to use only the extras from the kit and the ‘skeletons’ because I have a number of Clubbers that make all the cards as is before we see each other to make alternates. That is how excited they are for getting their kits!
Besides adding the cardstock I also used the leaf punch to punch out a gold leaf that I cut to place 1 leaf below and 2 above. I also used the dog punch to cut the gold hearts out of the rest of the sticker page. Gotta love the ‘leftovers’ we can do so much with!!
And these are 2 other cards that I came up with…
I did end up punching out some leaves and sprigs from the back of the card that I stole the front from. Those 2 punches come in very handy quite often!!
Now on to Terri Takashige’s Blog to see what fantastic alternate she came up with! Enjoy!

Thank you! I did some others that combined a few more sentiments that I still need to post. I like collaging sentiments.
Very cute cards! I especially like the ease card. Very clever to use the negative piece from the labels.
