Howdy!
It’s time for another Blog Hop! I love hopping around the world with these ladies of the Global Stamping Friends! They make some amazing projects and someday I trust I get to meet them in person at an OnStage or on a trip! In the meantime, I will have to settle for hopping with them…let’s get started!
This month is all about plaid! Living here in Montana definitely lends itself to learning to love plaid. I liked it back in AZ, but I am really digging it here…especially when it is flannel plaid…oh, so cozy and warm! Since our temps have been in the teens and twenties this week and single digit at night, I do plaid! 🙂
I chose to do a 3D project as I am making these for my first ever up-coming craft fair. Wish me luck! I chose to use the whole Wrapped in Plaid Suite from the Holiday Catalog! I am loving it!
Those gold pizza boxes are really shiny! So, I decided to tone it down a bit with some plaid. Even the sides. Then, I was looking on Pinterest to see what others have done with these boxes and discovered that there are not many gold ones on there. Most are the white ones. However, I did see a picture of a gold one dressed up with fall leaves and an accordion/fan style pumpkin! I may just make a few of those…but for this, I had the idea to try that technique out with the Christmas tree! And it worked quite well! Thank you for the inspiration. Patty Bennett!
Here’s how the tree came out…
Pretty cool, huh! I’ll be doing more for sure!
Here is the whole box with the tag. What do you think? Let me know in the comments!
Quick. Simple. Easy. Just the way crafting should be when you want it to be! 😉
Time to hop on over to what amazing project Amanda Bates created for you! You can come back and check out the supply list and other pertinent info once you have hopped around if you would like.Â
Thank you for reading and taking this crafting journey with me! It’s nice to have you along! Enjoy your own Stampin’, Scrappin’, and Craftin’ journey! Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts about this project. Feel free to CASE my projects and share them in the comments below! I love to see what others create!Â
Blessings, June
