Howdy!
It is that fun time again where I get to hop with the lovely ladies of the Global Stamping Friends…Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world! Let’s get started!
This month our theme was Trees and Wood. I was sad to discover that all my wood and trees stamp sets had retired and I forgot to order the new one that I have been drooling over. (I just ordered it, so you’ll see a post on it soon! 😉 ) Therefore, I turned to one of my favorite, although confusing, embossing folders…Woodland. The trees seem to be able to go either way and I get so confused at times. Yes, it is still one of my favorites! It worked, I’m going with it. 😉
Here it is…
I stamped my scene right onto the embossing folder and then ran it through my Big Shot. I just love this technique and have been wanting to try out this lighthouse scene for some time. Today was the perfect day for it!
I trust you like it…let me know with comments below. It’s always nice to hear from others.Â
Now on to Tricia Butts’ blog to see what wonderful creation she has for you!
Thank you for reading and taking this crafting journey with me! It’s nice to have you along! Enjoy your Stampin’, Scrappin’, and Craftin’ journey! Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts about this project. Feel free to CASE my projects and share them in the comments! I love to see what others create!Â
Blessings, June

This technique is wonderful with the lighthouse in the background. I’ve tried this technique and can never get it to work for me. I’ll keep trying because this effect is beautiful.
Lots of trees have downward growing branches. I love the Stamped image showing through the trees. I have never tried this technique before, looks like fun. TFS
Totally cool! It’s like peeking out through the edge of the woods on a cliff overlooking the ocean. I’ve never tried this technique before, what a great look. Thanks for sharing 😀

Thank you! I have used this technique once before…but need to do more. It’s the perfect embossing folder for it!
What a wonderful technique and one I’ll be trying for sure. It really gives great texture too. Thanks for sharing x

So there really is a place with that kind of view? Kept seeing it in my mind’s eye, but found nothing when I Google birch trees near ocean. Glad to know it’s realistic. ? Thank you!!
Great idea! Love your card
