Hello, Hello!
Happy Holidays to you all! It’s cram for Christmas time for me! I am way behind with making cards and attempting to figure out what to do now. I’m back to thinking assembly line card making and Paper Pumpkin.
However, for a little inspiration earlier last week, I went to one of my favorite sketch blogs, Sketch Saturday, and found this:
And here is the card I made:
I mixed new and old together for this card! I used an old stamp set called Santa Stache, yes, same set the Santa was from here. I also used a recently retired stamp set called Greetings from Santa. The holly came from the Christmas Pines set which is a current stamp set. The base cardstock is Whisper White. The patterned paper is from Dashing Along DSP. The ink colors used are Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, and Momento Tuxedo Black. I used ink from ink pads for sentiments and distressing of the rectangle the Nutcracker is on and Stampin’ Write Markers for the holly. I fussy cut the list and holly as there was no thinlits for them. I used the framelit for the mustache and the velvet paper from the Holiday Catalog. I used an older punch to cut out the “nutty or nice?” sentiment.
Well, bugger…I just discovered that this challenge closed and I missed it. Darn! Oh, well, it’s another card to send out and that is more needed right now than challenges.
Thank you for reading and taking this crafting journey with me! It’s nice to have you along! Enjoy your Stampin’, Scrappin’, and Craftin’ journey and feel free to share with me! I love to see what others create!
Blessings, June
