Hello, Hello!
It’s that time again…First Friday of the month…hopping with my Global Stamping Friends! These are some amazing ladies who make some amazing projects so enjoy the hopping! This month’s theme is Seasonal Fun…so let’s have some fun and I will show you what I created!
I am all about snow right now! I live in Whitefish, Montana and we are supposed to have a lot more snow than we do right now!! Our ski mountain has been making snow to open yesterday. That is so sad! I figure if I keep making cards with winter scenes and lots of snow maybe we will keep getting snow! As a snowmobile rider, I want a lot more snow! I decided to “capture” some snow in a shaker card!
Here is my creation:
I love purple! So using Gorgeous Grape is a joy! So happy for this new color from Stampin’ Up!! I kept this card simple using the Gorgeous Grape and Whisper White cardstock with a little bit of Tuxedo Black ink. The bow was inked with Gorgeous Grape and stamped off 2 times on other paper before using it on this card. I also used the framelits to make the snowflakes and used silver and lighter colors from the Metallics Sequin Assortment.
I used the Jars of Love stamp set
I used my Big Shot with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder on the Gorgeous Grape layer after I used the stardust stamp from the Christmas Pines stamp set to give it a background pattern. Also from that set are the front sentiment, punch out with the Everyday Label punch and the holly, which I used Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Markers to ink the leaves and berries and then fussy cut them out. The inside sentiment is from Beautiful Baubles. The inside snowflakes are from the Colorful Seasons stamp set which was inked 1 time and stamped 3 times. Yep, my favorite technique! And I used 3 Pearl White sequin from the Adhesive Backed Sequin set.
I am so proud of myself for mixing up my stamp sets…I used to only use what it came with it instead of incorporating others. I am Out-of-the-Box now!! YAY! Finally!
Thank you for hopping with me, now it’s time to enjoy what Jenn made for your delight!
