SU! Sealed with Love

Hello! TGIF!!! (almost)

Wowza! What a crazy week this has been for me! I haven’t worked out once no matter what great intentions I had! I am short on sleep, water intake, and my house is a bit of a disaster! BUT, I have blogged this week! Crazy, crazy!

This is the last of the newest cards from this past weekend that I made. I trust I will be able to get some more done this weekend before my In-Laws come for a visit next Tuesday. Our son is in a 6th grade Musical called “Grunch” next week and they are driving from Canada to see it! Should be a fun time! Will be getting house in order, planning meals, and make cards or scrap pages this weekend!

So, on to the card!

This one started as a sketch challenge for another new blog that I found. It’s called Try Stampin’ On Tuesday. Cool name, right?! Anyway, here is the sketch…

And her is my card…

I used the Playful Palette Designer Paper Stack that I have been working with lately! Still have not braved the super-duper crazy patterns, but I will.

The card base is Very Vanilla and I adhered the Playful Palette paper over the complete front of the cardstock and then edged it with the Emerald Envy dauber. I used a strip of Sweet Sugarplum across the bottom part of the card and stamped it with a line of hearts from the Sealed with Love stamp set out of the current Occasions catalog. The Hello Love and the decorative swirl above it are also from that stamp set and stamped in the Sweet Sugarplum as well. Then it is backed with the Emerald Envy cardstock. The tag is from a Paper Pumpkin kit and was a left over. The Emerald Envy swirl is an innard of one of the swirls from cards shown here from the Swirly Scribbles Framelit set.

This was a fast card to put together and I really like how it turned out. Like I have said before, this paper stack is really a challenge for me and I am glad that I am using it to show others that it really does make some pretty cards! Oh, and I did give this card to my 2 special Loves of my Life! Hubby and son!

Enjoy your weekend! I trust you have fun things planned with family and friends besides crafting!

Blessings, June
