Good Afternoon!
Finally had a day at home alone! Feeling fully recovered and truly in the mood to craft! Plus, I need Birthday Cards! Almost out! Yikes! That is not a good thing! Going to order some of the Sale-A-Bration birthday themed items today! WooHoo! There is some seriously cool stuff in the Occasions catalog for Birthdays! You can check it out Here.
But, before I do that, I wanted to show you a Thank You card that I did a tad differently than the last one in this style. I think I may like this one better! One of my favorite techniques is to do the “stamping off”, where you ink the stamp one time and then stamp it 2 or 3 times. In this case, I stamped it 2 times, with 2 different colors. I used the new In Colors from Stampin’ Up!- Dapper Denim and Sweet Sugarplum. The swish is from the stamp set Work of Art. Card base is the Sweet Sugarplum cardstock cut at 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 and scored at 5 1/2 to fold top down style. I used the 2016-2018 In Color Designer Series Paper stack for the worded paper behind my sentiment. I also ran the sentiment through the Big Shot using the Softly Falling embossing folder. I just like how it came together! What do you think?
Now I am off to make Birthday cards with the Swirly Scribbles thinlits that I got from the Year-End closeout and haven’t gotten to use yet! I am so excited! I’ll post them as soon as I get them made!!
Materials used to make this card can be found Here, they include:
- Work of Art clear stamp set
- Dapper Denim and Sugarplum Ink pads
- 2016-2018 In Color Designer Series Paper
- Sweet Sugarplum cardstock
- Big Shot
- Softly Falling embossing folder
Enjoy your Tuesday!
Blessings, June
