Hello and Happy Saturday!
Crafting weekend for you, too?! I’m scrappin’ all day today at a Scrap4Less crop and we’ll see what happens on Sunday! Hubby will be home, so it might be a movie day!
Here is another sketch challenge that I did over the holidays! This is another sketch from Stuck?! Sketches…a great challenge site! I love working with sketches! Most of the folks who entered this challenge and even the design team used stars. I chose white birch trees as my large back drop! Shh, not an SU! framelit. I was at a crop and a friend of mine showed it to me and it was so perfect for this page, that I used it! That elk was in the trees and it all blends nicely together! I put the Bald Eagle in a circle using the 2″ circle punch from Stampin’ Up!and then backed him up with a couple layers of papers. The tab punch is a retired item from SU!, but one of my favorites, so I use it often. I even have the stamp set that goes with it, which I used to embellish the paper.
Again, working on an 8×8 page to do a 12×12 sketch was a bit of a challenge, yet…it came out pretty good! Don’t you think? I even have a few trees leftover to use in my own album. Sweet!
Alrighty, off to scrappin’ my day away! Then I will have more to post! Cool beans!
Enjoy your day!
Blessings, June
