Hello, again!
Yes, I am on a roll and catching up! Soon I will have to get back to working on creating new cards and pages because my back log of stuff will be used up! That’s a good thing, though!!
Here are some of the simple pages that I did in which I didn’t use the banner punch. I did use stamps from Stampin’ Up!, of course. Not all the papers are from Stampin’ Up! and I really could not even tell you who made them! I finally had gone to storage and gotten my outdoor/camping container, so it has a huge variety of stuff from before my SU! days!!
The 8×8 album is from Hobby Lobby. It’s a post bound. Not fond of them! I always struggle with adding the little bits of posts to make the post longer. They just don’t all fit well. I had to fight a bit with this one and needed a second set of hands. Luckily, my hubby was nearby to help! I had a different 8×8 album from WeRMemory Keepers, but I couldn’t find more pages for it! If I had known that from the beginning, I would have bought a 6×8 Project Life album from SU! and done a combination of Project life and 6×8 pages. That would have really challenged me! I added the Yellowstone sticker that I had gotten on the trip. Loved the #memories on the cover! Very trendy right now!
Some of the stamp sets I used were Glamper Greetings (still available for a short time in the Holiday Carryover), the Star was from the stamp set called You’re So Sweet, the scripted Happys in the picture at the playground was from the Hello You Thinlits and the Love You stamp is from the Friendly Wishes stamp set.
The mountains I used are die-cuts from somewhere. Now they are all used up and I have none for my own album. I am thinking I should invest in the Outdoor Adventure Framelits and maybe the stamp set, which you can see HERE. Otherwise, I will have to draw my own…not necessarily a good thing. Although mountains I could probably do…people and animals are not my thing!
The rest of the embellishments and paper were just ribbon and paper from my stash. All dating way before I learned about Stampin’ Up! Now I work towards incorporating my old stuff with my SU! stuff! I have it, so I have to use it!
I trust you enjoyed my simple pages. It just goes to show you that scrapbooking does not have to be hard and major pieces of art! Simple can be just as nice and mixes in well with fancier pieces!
Blessings to you all!
June
